“Going Viral” with Infectious Diseases

Published on 28th June 2017

Infectious diseases (ID) are known as one of the leading causes of death worldwide. ID specialists are trained to deal with many causes of these diseases including bacterial, fungal and viral infections. The expertise these specialists share is critical to protecting public health. IDWeek retained Public Communications Inc. (PCI) for its second year to increase awareness of the meeting and the importance of the ID specialty.

IDWeek and PCI worked closely to create a conference that generated more than double the media coverage of the inaugural IDWeek. The conference reinforced the value of these ID specialists.

Public Communications Inc. offers strategic support and counsel for their clients. PCI brings an outside perspective that allows them to ask the tough questions and identify the right opportunities for their partners. PCI focuses on digital strategy, crisis communication, media relations and much more.
