2018 Public Relations and Media Predictions from Worldcom PR Group

2017. What a year. In late 2016, Worldcom’s PR experts predicted it would be the ‘year of uncertainty’. And it’s lived up to its name. It’s been a year of constant changes – all with huge impact on people, organizations and countries.

Significant developments included: the inauguration of Donald Trump as the President of the United States of America; the United Kingdom triggering Article 50 and beginning the process of leaving Europe; large-scale ransomware attacks that affected over 150 countries, ballistic missile testing; the Harvey Weinstein scandal and the survivor story and; the domination of social media in response to pretty much every corporate and individual PR crisis.
