2016 was an extraordinary year that will have far-reaching impact on communications in 2017. Significant global uncertainty has been created by a variety of changes.

These changes include a new administration in the USA, Brexit, the rise of populist politics, the sad death of the King of Thailand, a slowdown in economic growth in China and the recent decision by oil producing nations to control production to increase the price of oil.
