Springboard appointed 2027 Ryder Cup Irish communications provider

Worldcom Partner Springboard Communications has been appointed as the Irish communications provider for the Ryder Cup 2027.

“We are proud to support Ryder Cup Europe in delivering communications support for a contest that will have a positive and lasting impact for Ireland,” said Susie Horgan, Founder and Managing Director of Springboard Communications,

The award-winning independent Irish agency will work closely with Ryder Cup Europe to manage Irish media relations and stakeholder communications, supporting the successful delivery of the contest at Adare Manor, Limerick in September 2027.

Richard Atkinson, Chief Ryder Cup Officer said: “As preparations continue for Ryder Cup 2027 at Adare Manor, it is important that we have a strong communications provider in Ireland. Springboard Communications brings valuable experience and on-the-ground expertise, and we look forward to working together as we build towards what promises to be a memorable Ryder Cup in 2027.”

The appointment follows a standout year for Springboard Communications, which has offices in Cork and Dublin and a presence in Limerick. Over the past year, the agency achieved B Corp certification and was named PRCA Agency of the Year at the Spotlight Awards for Excellence in Communications and PRII Consultancy Team of the Year at the PRII Communication Impact Awards.

Speaking on the appointment, Horgan said: “The Ryder Cup is one of the most prestigious sporting events in the world, and to be appointed as Irish communications provider is a significant milestone for our agency. It reflects the strength and experience of our team, particularly in Munster, and the trusted relationships we have built nationally.”
