Will Ockenden of Prohibition PR created a week-in-the-live view of the Paris AGM for Prolific North. Co-owners Ockenden and Chris Norton joined more than a hundred agency leaders from across the Worldcom network for the multi-day event, which brought together partners from Mexico, Hong Kong, India, Austria, Germany, Denmark, the Netherlands, and beyond.
The AGM included new partner introductions, sales training, peer review sessions, and substantive discussions on AI. That topic is one Ockenden noted has shifted considerably in tone over the past year, with leading agencies now building bespoke tools rather than relying on off-the-shelf solutions.
Prohibition presented on two fronts: the agency’s growing B2B podcasting practice, which drew strong interest from fellow partners, and the proprietary AI platform the team has developed in-house. It was one of the sessions that sparked more candid conversations about what AI genuinely delivers versus what is overhyped.
The Paris AGM also advanced a number of live commercial opportunities for the agency. Prohibition is currently working with HBI in Germany to support client Burgess Pet Care’s European expansion, collaborating with two US agencies on AI projects. They are also part of an active pan-European tender for a spirits brand with work that would not have been accessible without the Worldcom network.
“Growing beyond our domestic market is a deliberate part of our strategy, and Worldcom is the biggest lever we have for it,” said Ockenden in his article. “A UK agency plugged into so many countries can now go after work that was never on the table before.”
