Florida Dept of Citrus Selects Padilla as Marketing, Communication’s AOR

Published on 19th September 2024

Worldcom Partner, Padilla, has been selected by the Florida Department of Citrus (FDOC) as its Agency of Record (AOR) for the department’s consumer marketing and issues management program.  The two accounts are estimated to be about $9 million in total budget, according to Padilla president Matt Kucharski.

Padilla was selected for both accounts over the summer following a competitive pitch and began working with the FDOC in earnest in July, Kucharski explained.

“We’ve been excited about how quickly we’ve hit the ground running and built a strong chemistry with the FDOC internal team,” Kucharski said. “Our goal, pure and simple, is to drive consumer engagement and get more people to appreciate all the great things that Florida Citrus brings. Everything else is a service of that.”

The agency is tasked with raising awareness for FDOC as an industry leader and driving consumer engagement. The accounts will include through paid media, PR, influencer partnerships, digital advertising, research and insights, social media and retail activations.

In addition, Padilla will support FDOC’s mission of maximizing consumer demand for Florida’s citrus products and ensuring the sustainability and economic well-being of the growers, the industry and the State of Florida, according to the agency.
