Through our global network, Worldcom partners are able to collaborate and share regional insights that help to expand their service offerings to clients. There is no finer example of this than the recent collaboration between HBI PR & MARCOM and fellow partners on the Copernicus project.
Copernicus is the earth observation program of the European Union. Since August 2018, HBI has supported two of the six services (Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service and the Climate Change Service) with comprehensive PR.

All activities of Copernicus are published in the five main EU markets. Annual reports and other climate documents are made available to European citizens. Additionally, communication about the project is also disseminated to other countries depending on the topic and target group.
Worldcom partner agencies support HBI in the processing and translation of press releases for their respective markets. Under HBI’s project lead, the partners of the Worldcom Group make it possible to implement excellent PR presence in almost every European country. Text by native speakers, knowledge of cultural differences and suggestion for localized communication across national borders contributed to the success of Copernicus’ European PR campaigns.
HBI was nominated as a finalist in the 2019 Sabre Awards in the category of Corporate Institution – Institutional Image for their efforts on the campaign.
Next, HBI plans to implement an even stronger focus on communication on the connection between businesses and climate data. With the help of the Worldcom network, communication will also be expanded into even more European countries.
