Words are spells that can transport people to other worlds, make them feel intense emotions and leave an indelible mark on their memory. With metaphors, similes and vivid descriptions we can give color to stories, conveying not only simple information, but also making the audience see it, feel it and live it.

The art of business storytelling has the capability to transform simple data into experiences that connect and excite. Imagine your company as the hero of an epic tale. This hero is not just a faceless entity; it is a living being, full of dreams, vision, values and aspirations. As with the hero, companies are facing challenges in a competitive business world.

The question to help create an impactful story is: What does my company need to shine?  Clearly, the company not only needs to tell the public about its purpose, but also what makes it unique. This is a great opportunity to use the magic of narrative to connect with customers.

There are great examples of how companies use storytelling including:

  • AirBNB
  • Johnson & Johnson
  • Coca Cola
