To become a Worldcom partner and enjoy the affiliated benefits, prospective partners must meet minimum qualifications:
  • Potential partners must have a primary focus on providing PR services and be financially sound with an established reputation for high professional standards in their marketplace. In addition, to become a full partner, applicants must have been in business for a minimum of five years, receive a minimum of US$500,000 in annual revenue ($1 million for US based firms), and employ at least five full-time PR staff.
  • Integrated communications firms may also become Worldcom partners if they have strong capability in media relations, public affairs, marketing public relations, special events, crisis management, investor relations, and social media. We also look for a commitment and track record of sound PR strategy and execution.
  • All prospective partners will undergo a partnership vetting process that includes completion of the application – describing relevant details about the applicant’s capabilities and operations. Then, a member of the Region Partnership Committee will conduct a site visit to assess the prospecting partner and finalize the process.
