MC Group has successfully completed the second edition of its Women Leadership School, a program advancing female empowerment and sustainable development in the Ecuadorian Amazon. More than 30 women from across Amazonian communities participated in workshops covering leadership, entrepreneurship, and digital marketing.

With this latest cohort, the program has now trained a total of 70 women from three Indigenous nationalities — Shuar, Cofán, and Kichwa — equipping participants with the skills to transform local projects and lead meaningful change in their communities.

The participants acquired crucial practical tools for the success of their local projects:

  • Purpose-driven entrepreneurship: Strategies for businesses with social impact.
  • Personal branding and leadership: Strengthening identity and management skills.
  • Assertive communication and digital marketing: Essential tactics for the visibility of your Amazonian ventures.

The Women Leadership School’s impact has earned recognition beyond the Amazon: the program recently received second place in the “Hablemos del Cambio” awards in the ODS 5 category, which honors initiatives advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal on Gender Equality.
