Springboard Communications, the award-winning independent Irish communications agency and Worldcom Public Relations Group partner, has appointed Tom Fitzpatrick as Director. The appointment strengthens the agency’s senior leadership team as it continues a sustained period of growth.
In his new role, Fitzpatrick will provide senior strategic counsel to clients, advising organisations on reputation management, complex communications challenges, and media and stakeholder engagement.
Fitzpatrick joins Springboard from the Irish Examiner, where he served as Editor, leading the newsroom through a period of significant transformation. During his tenure, he drove the publication’s digital subscription strategy, championed high-impact public interest journalism, and led multi-disciplinary teams delivering award-winning reporting.

Prior to that, he served as Editor of Construction News in London, the leading B2B publication for the UK construction sector. He brings more than 20 years of experience across journalism, editorial leadership, and digital publishing.

The appointment comes as Springboard continues to build momentum across its client portfolio.
