Worldcom partner Sachs Media—celebrating its 30th anniversary—announced that partner Drew Piers has been named President, capping a year of record growth for the firm. In his new role, Piers will lead agency performance, client service, and people and culture, while continuing to expand the firm’s national public affairs and issue-advocacy practice.
Piers’ industry recognition includes PRNEWS’ 2024 People of the Year, INFLUENCE Magazine Top Influencer in Florida Politics, and multiple statewide and national awards for campaign excellence.

As president, Piers will work closely with the executive leadership team, including CEO Michelle Ubben and partner Ryan Cohn, recently named Chief Strategy Officer overseeing long-term strategy, growth, and innovation. Over 14 years, Piers has led public affairs and issue-advocacy campaigns in 30+ states and will remain active in client strategy and senior counsel roles.
