McDougall Communications-Led PR Program Named Best in the U.S. for The Fourth Time

Published on 10th May 2024

For the fourth consecutive year, McDougall Communications has been honored as developing one of the most creative and effective public relations programs in the United States. It’s work on behalf of the Contact Lens Institute, which promotes sector growth and healthy patient habits, received three 2024 Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Anvil Awards during a gala in Manhattan last evening.

The Contact Lens Institute’s See Tomorrow initiative produced two research studies—one focused on “dual wear” patients who use both glasses and contact lenses, and the other centered on fostering positive contact lens cultures in eye doctors’ offices. Through a combination of in-depth reports, industry partnerships, and trade media collaboration, the program increased market volumes, boosted eye care professionals’ confidence, and created momentum for practice and patient success.

PRSA named the effort as the nation’s best strategic program of the year in the Integrated Communications (Business-to-Business) and Content Marketing (Business-to-Business) categories, bestowing a Silver Anvil Award for both—the “Oscar” of the public relations field. The underlying research was recognized in the Data Insights tactical category with a Bronze Anvil Award of Commendation.
