As co-founding leaders and members of the Argentine chapter of the Unstereotype Alliance, Worldcom partners Karina Riera and Mariana Jasper from Alurralde, Jasper + Asoc., participated in a high-level event organized by UN Women.  The event was held while Bibiana Aído, UN Women Regional Director for the Americas and the Caribbean, visited Argentina.

The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange perspectives on the challenges and opportunities currently facing the private sector, the impact of new technologies and transformations in communications, and the forms of leadership and collaboration needed to advance gender equality.

Verónica Baracat, Officer in Charge of UN Women Argentina, delivered the opening remarks, while Mariana Massaccesi, UN Women Private Sector Specialist and leader of the Unstereotype Alliance, facilitated a discussion on narratives and the development of a shared agenda to promote more inclusive and stereotype-free communications.

During the event, Aído also shared her perspective on UN Women’s regional priorities and the strategic role companies can play in building more equal societies.

Throughout the conversation, participating organizations exchanged challenges, opportunities, and potential lines of action to expand the Alliance’s collective reach and impact across the region.
