Rebranding Reynolds Community College

Share this insight:

Located in Richmond, Va., Reynolds Community College enlisted the help of PR agency Padilla to determine what it needed to attract new students. Padilla conducted qualitative research to determine that the college should go through a rebrand, positioning itself on career preparation.

Competing with five other community colleges in the area, Reynolds needed to stand out against the competition. The college used its strengths to build its position as a college where “Outstanding Careers Get Started.”

The new educationally focused branding was easily adapted to fit the various career tracks Reynolds Community College offers, making the college feel more personal to current and prospective students. Not only does it create an intimate feeling for each student, it shows students that attending Reynold Community College will provide them with the necessary resources to be well prepared for their chosen career. The campaign was a great success, see the details of the marketing and brand campaign.
