The Crisis Communications and Issues Management Public Relations Practice Group offer clients immediate access to crisis communications public relations experts in major media markets throughout the world through its Global Rapid Response Team. Senior public relations professionals are on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week, ready to pull together from any point on the map at a moment's notice to help clients manage during a crisis or public controversy.
Member firms are represented with the Group by agency principals, who are personally involved in supporting client needs. These principals have built solid relationships with the media, government officials, and business leaders in the communities they serve—providing clients with the unique ability to communicate locally among key stakeholders in response to an emerging crisis or issue. Group members support clients according to agreed-upon standards and shared best practices. For clients contending with environmental issues, labor disputes, litigation, bankruptcy, corporate governance, NGO activity, civic conflicts or natural disasters, the Group provides a seamless, quality-assured network of support that can be engaged within minutes. Areas of specialty include chemical and pharmaceutical, energy and transportation, food and agriculture, healthcare, waste management, government, and consumer products.
