SMART Storage Systems - SanDisk Acquisition

Challenge: McGrath/Power client SMART Storage Systems had a vision for how NAND flash could be leveraged in enterprise environments. The Company needed to cut through competitor noise, address an unknown issue and make itself an attractive acquisition target.
Strategy/Planning: The Agency re-focused industry debate with the “Endurance Is…” campaign, giving the Company a platform to introduce itself to market, differentiate and narrow the playing field.
Implementation/Execution: The campaign educated influencers on the importance of endurance in storage solutions, spotlighted the Company’s technology and addressed competitor inefficiencies.
Results: McGrath/Power’s “Endurance Is…” campaign ultimately resulted in SMART Storage Systems’ acquisition by SanDisk.
