HBI Helga Bailey GmbH – International PR and Marketing Communications Services – was founded in 1983 as a Full-Service PR-agency. Our agency is headquartered in Munich with a satellite office in Berlin. Since its foundation HBI has offered services for all kinds of PR work, support at trade fairs and congresses as well as organisation of company events throughout Europe. Focusing originally on the semi-conductor industry, the product range of our customers has expanded to the whole technology sector and manufacturing industry including Networking, Components & Electronics, Document & Enterprise Management, Storage & Security and Mobile Communication. However we also have numerous references and experience in the fields of B2B & Consumer Software, Consulting, Food & Beverage, Health Care as well as Travel & Tourism. Building connections, rather than obstructing them – this is the maxim by which we work. HBI positions Rockwell Automation in German media

When Rockwell Automation, one of the leading global suppliers of industrial automation and information solutions for end-users and OEMs, needed its global strategic repositioning implemented in the German market, they called on HBI. Rockwell’s focus was on four vertical markets, including food & beverage.
Strategy and Action
HBI’s team introduced Rockwell and its industry solutions to trade press and contacted media in the four vertical market’s publications. Furthermore, Rockwell Automation’s spokespersons were positioned to the media as experts in the field.
HBI achieved outstanding results by using press releases, by-lined articles and success stories. Rockwell’s visibility was increased by exhibiting at trade shows such as drinktec 2005 and BRAU Beviale 2006 and 2007. Additionally, HBI placed ads and advertorials for Rockwell Automation in the focused market’s key media. Rockwell is been extensively covered by media in the targeted vertical market and is now considered as expert in the relevant fields.

In this competitive market it is crucial to provide editors with interesting information, details and articles on each product and always to keep an eye on new, upcoming technologies. This is also true for new PR tools and trends.

HBI was very early in offering services to help companies address the important advances in Web 2.0 in Germany. In addition to standard PR-services we offer expertise in the fields of blogging, networking, Social Media and Word-of-Mouth. Developing social media concepts, hosting websites, portals or blogs - these are everyday tasks for us. Last but not least, each communication string – print, online and web 2.0 – has to be considered in Germany: and print media is still an important channel here.
