Medita has specialised in strategic contents and communication solutions for technology and industrial companies as well as expert service providers. Our core competence is in strategic interest group communication, including planning and consulting in the field of internal communication, network communication and media relation services. We provide web solutions from concept planning to contents, newsletters and social media services.

Our Core Message Workshop crystallises the unique core message for all interest groups and targeted key messages for each interest group.

Medita, founded in 1997, has gained deep understanding of the media environment in Finland, combining traditional and new media. We are familiar with the rest of Scandinavia thanks to various projects across the borders.

As a member of the Finnish Trade Industry Body for Ad & Communication Agencies MTL we share a comprehensive view of the branch. Our cooperation with the University of Jyväskylä brings added value to our clients and staff.

TRIO speeds up supply chains of tech industry

The national campaign TRIO was launched 2004 to guide the Finnish technology companies to adapt their procedures into the global environment. The goal was to activate tech companies by means of communication to build success by developing the globally operating supply chains.

Up-to date web pages and newsletters, magazine, marketing materials, seminars, fair trade shows and face-to-face interaction plus media coverage carried the strategic key messages to essential target groups.

As a result, more than 70 company networks, consisting of over 800 companies, were created by the end of 2009. A new 3-year project TRIOplus has started in 2010.

The technology industry accounts for 60 % of total Finnish exports and 75 % of Finnish R&D investments in industry and commerce.

Market Intelligence

Finland is a Nordic country with 5,5 million inhabitants. We are part of the EU and the EMU. National languages are Finnish and Swedish, but most Finns speak better English than Swedish.

Export 56,9 billion euros, over half of the export is to the EU countries. Import 59,5 billion euros, mostly to Russia, Europe, China and USA. Global Finnish companies: Neste Oil, Fortum, Kemira, Metso, UPM, Stora Enso, Kone, Fiskars, Cargotec, Wärtsilä, Nokia, Vaisala, F-Secure, Rovio, Supercell, Fazer, Paulig, Valio and Sanoma.

Media, communication and PR: 16-74-year old Finns: 92% use internet, 51% use social media services, 61% has smartphone ( and 66 per cent buys from the internet. Finnish blogs reach about 600 000 visitors and the importance of blogs is growing. Finnish media follows the blogs and Facebook&Twitter profiles of politicians and authorities. Compared to many European countries, there are quite a few media in Finland, news threshold is high. There are no automated portals to publish press releases, so the press releases must include real news to attract journalists.
