Overview
Hermanoff Public Relations is an independently owned, full-service public relations firm that was founded in 1985 by Sandy Hermanoff. Since then, HPR has become a leader in providing clients with solid strategic business thinking that has helped shape brands and company reputations around the country. Today, we represent a diverse clientele, including large and small corporations, associations and non-profit organizations. As a strategic communication partner for our clients, we are sensitive to the challenges they face, how they view themselves and how their constituencies view them.
Our market niche has always been our creativity and ethics. We welcome clients large and small and make their challenges our own.
Inside PR, a former national public relations publication, said: “Professionalism, integrity and results have long been the hallmark at Hermanoff, which is not the biggest independent public relations firm in Michigan, but maybe the best. The agency excels in taking relatively unknown entities and demonstrates that strategic thinking and solid public relations execution can turn them into household names, often more effective than advertising.”
We have also received numerous awards for our endeavors and are especially proud of our accomplishments for current and former clients such as Dunkin’Donuts, Bright House Networks, McDonald's Corporation, The Commerce Township Downtown Development Authority and many others.

Dunkin’ Donuts Salutes Those Who Keep Detroit Running
Dunkin’ Donuts launched a new brand campaign: America Runs on Dunkin’, marking a pivotal point for the brand as it plans to establish itself as a national player in the beverage and snack business. Dunkin’ Donuts brand is recognized by 98% of people in the U.S. Hermanoff wants to strengthen this number in the Michigan Region.
Before the launch of the “Serving Those Who Serve the Community/ Dunkin’ Donuts Appreciation Days,” Hermanoff recognized that Dunkin’ Donuts’ value message had to be communicated to encourage brand loyalty and drive trial by competitive users. The agency felt that the America Runs on Dunkin’ message needed to be localized to raise awareness about the brand and humanize the company.
Dunkin’ turned to Hermanoff, a full-service boutique public relations and marketing firm, to lead an integrated communications campaign that would illustrate the value message and create local media interest.

Market Intelligence
In order to bring value to our current and future clients, HPR needs to go over and beyond traditional PR in order to bring our clients the ROI they are looking for.
Detroit's economy isn't what it used to be. Businesses are struggling, trying to find ways to survive, so strategic business partnerships are more important than ever before.
HPR, through our invaluable relationships work with our clients and attempt to create some "strategic partnerships" in the marketplace in an effort to generate business, forging community-oriented alliances for our clients with other organizations that share common public service goals.
We have received tremendous feedback that the relationships that the firm can offer with key business leaders, not just with media, is what is most important to companies today.
