Off Madison Ave Uses Press Conference To Get Results
Dover Saddlery (NASDAQ: DOVR), the largest purveyor of quality equestrian products, was the first purely equestrian company to go public. After its $40M IPO in 2005, CEO Stephen Day was invited to “ring the bell” and open the stock market. To increase brand awareness and promote the stock Off Madison Ave conducted media outreach and held a press conference with New York City Mayor’s daughter Georgina Bloomberg, a competitive equestrian rider, to discuss Dover Saddlery and her involvement in the 2008 Olympics. Media placements were secured in three major publications, two national wires and a segment on CNBC’s, “On the Money.”
